Top 100 Wines + Chefs Parade scheduled on November 14, 2020, has been cancelled due to Covid-19 regulations. All wine lovers who had already purchased tickets for the event will be reimbursed.
The good news is – no Covid is gonna keep us away from enjoying good wine – so check out the results of Wine of the Year competition both at our web page, and in magazines Santa & Klubs. Get to know the best wines and support our wine merchants!

This year is no exception and on 14 November Hanzas Perons is once again hosting parade of TOP100 wines an chefs, where visitors will be offered 100 best wines to pair with culinary creations of Latvia’s best chefs, as well mini-masterclasses by Michael Schuster and Latvia’s leading sommeliers.
Wine of the Year 2000 award – gold and silver champagnes, white wines, red wines and dessert wines will be offered to taste in one place – at Riga Wine & Champagne festival. For the first time in the history of the award, there will be also tasting of the best ciders made in Latvia and in Baltics, winners of Baltic Cider Award.
How does it work?
Hanzas Perons is becoming a wine-taster’s and connoisseur’s paradise. As usually, at the door, each guest will be given a glass, a festival catalogue listing the wines with their descriptions, prices and stores offering it. In the centre of the hall there will be 7 tables of 100 best wines imported in Latvia, as well as a special table for those willing to go on cider adventure across Baltic cider regions. There will be a brigade of sommeliers and pommeliers that will help you navigate through the offered kinds of wines and ciders. In addition to the drinks, restaurant chefs will offer their masterpieces at giveaway prices.
What wines will be offered?
Wine of the Year 2000 award-winners — gold and silver champagnes, white wines, red wines and dessert wines. Pay special attention to the wines “30 under” for 15 EUR – those gold and silver medal winners under the price of 15 euros are go to option you can choose, knowing those are the best ones for this price.
What ciders will be offered for tasting?
Winners of Baltic Cider Awards that has taken place in the framework of Wine of the Year 2020 award: the best ciders made from fermented juice of apples and pears grown in Baltics.
