On 16 August 2019, Carnival Youth is releasing a new studio album “Good Luck” and starts a tour across Latvia in November. In the course of this tour they will be playing at the new concert hall Hanzas Perons in Riga on 23 November.
The upcoming album “Good Luck” was recorded last summer at Red Bull Studios in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The album was produced by a friend and long-term partner in making albums – Gatis Zaķis, while the mixing was done by Grammy winning Nicolas Verhnes, who worked with groups like The War on Drugs, Animal Collective, Deerhunter, Dirty Projectors, Wild Nothing and others. Sound mastering performed at Streling Sounds in New York by Greg Calbi, whose portfolio includes The National, MGMT, Interpol, and Arcade Fire.
The album features 12 songs, and even before Latvian tour, Carnival Youth will be going on a European tour.
