Morcheeba. Escape The Chaos Tour

This spring the legendary British band Morcheeba comes to Riga.

More than 10 million albums sold worldwide and three decades on stage. Skye Edwards and Ross Godfrey have created one of the most recognisable sounds in British music — a hypnotic blend of trip-hop, soul, electronica, blues and psychedelia, built around Skye's inimitable voice.

Morcheeba arrive in Riga with their latest, eleventh studio album “Escape The Chaos”. The concert brings the new material together with the songs that became the band's calling card and an inseparable part of British trip-hop history.

Expect an evening between nostalgia and new music, between calm, hypnotic sound and rhythm — a chance to hear live the songs that have kept Morcheeba among the most distinctive British bands of their generation for three decades.

Skye adds: “It can become a kind of therapy. It won't bring peace to the whole world, but perhaps it can offer at least a little inner peace.”
