Baltic FinReg Summit '25

The Ninth High-Level Financial Sector Conference, Baltic FinReg Summit, to Take Place in Riga

On April 8 of this year, Riga will host the ninth high-level financial sector forum, the Baltic FinReg Summit, bringing together leading industry experts to discuss current trends and opportunities in the Baltic financial sector.

Traditionally, the FinReg conference provides a unique platform to hear from top experts from the financial supervisory authorities of all three Baltic states. Together with business representatives, they will address key issues related to sector oversight and regulation. Given the increasing geopolitical tensions and uncertainty, this year's event will focus on the resilience of the financial system in crisis situations and financing in the defense sector. Additionally, panel discussions on financing and payment ecosystems will analyze current trends and potential development directions for financial services.

"The resilience of the financial system and preparedness for various economic and geopolitical scenarios are of critical importance. A broader regional dialogue is essential for navigating complex global conditions and generating innovative ideas for business growth and sustainable industry development. Achieving these goals is only possible through collaboration between the industry and regulators. This was precisely the purpose behind establishing the FinReg platform. I am pleased that it has evolved into an institutional platform for analyzing Baltic financial market trends and facilitating dialogue between the industry and regulators," said Lauris Liepa, Managing Partner at COBALT.

Throughout the day, more than 20 industry experts will speak at the summit, including:

The full list of speakers and program can be found on the conference website: www.balticfinreg.eu.

The Baltic FinReg Summit is organized by COBALT Law Firm in collaboration with the European Investment Bank. The Summit Partner is Magnetiq Bank, a Signet Bank Group company, with support from the Finance Latvia Association.

The Night of the Ad Eaters

The Night of the Ad Eaters: a kooky culture clash!

For one night, let yourself be overwhelmed by a tsunami of advertising from the farthest corners of the planet: amazingly creative, aesthetic, exotic, touching, sometimes very kitschy, and especially funny!

Created 42 years ago by Jean Marie Boursicot, "The Night of the Ad Eaters" has become an unforgettable event for lovers of advertising cinema all over the world and on all 5 continents.

Forget the commercial side of advertising, which is too often aggressive, repetitive, or intrusive... The Night of the Ad Eaters is about fun and great mini-movies!

Advertising is #magic! Open your eyes and ears, open up to the world, and come celebrate the best - and a little bit the worst - creative ads from around the world. It's an evening dedicated to loudly and proudly expressing your opinion on the ads of your choice. Let your voice be heard like in France, Madagascar, or Tahiti! At The Night of the Ad Eaters, we laugh, shout, clap, whistle, and maybe even cry. Since its humble beginnings, The Night of the Ad Eaters has been an extraordinary UFO that walks a tightrope between advertising and shows. It is a concept that has so far been unclassifiable.

Let go of some of your preconceptions about advertising. Commercials can offer amazing cinematic moments: action, suspense, exoticism, twists, intrigue, melancholy, a little romance, but most of all, lots of humor!

This year in Latvia, come and enjoy a fun and creative atmosphere with activities, games, the artist Žoržs Siksna, the coolest people, and, of course, commercials!

Warning! Latest ads, uncensored ads, best ads, international ads, exotic ads, unusual ads, historical ads (1898 to present), cultural and political parodies, banned ads, 18+ ads (tobacco, drinks, condoms, underwear, gambling), ads, ads, ads, ads... No censorship...
